WHAT ARE THE BIG SEVEN?
The Big Seven, or Top 7 cities, are Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart. They are the largest office and investment markets in Germany.
EXAMPLE.
In the first half of 2026, around 1.37 million m² of office space was let or sold to owner-occupiers in the Big Seven, around 86% of take-up in all 15 office markets covered by DIP Deutsche Immobilien-Partner. The vacancy rate there rose to 8.4%. Source: DIP half-year review 2026.
WHY IT MATTERS.
