As part of the privatisation of
public-sector housing stocks, we acted as agents for
the local housing trust Wohnungsbaugesellschaft
Magdeburg mbH in the sale to investors of over 1,000
apartments. This success was able to be continued in
2000 when over 1,000 more apartments were sold, both
for Wohnungsgesellschaft Magdeburg mbH and also
other public-sector housing trusts.
Using out intimate knowledge of
the regional real estate market, we also succeed in
securing extremely high market shares when it comes
to commercial leases: in 1999 this equated to
approximately 40% of office lets and as much as 60%
of all agency-based retail leases.
This business also included locating "telemedia"
industry leaders like "Quelle" and "Walter
Telemedien" in the area.
One of our current key projects
is the revitalisation of Magdeburg's "Breiter Weg"
pedestrian precinct.
